In the University Honors Program, we encourage you to explore the world through a variety of high-impact practices such as our Career Connections, Cultural Explorations, and Outdoor Explorations trips which provide opportunities for travel and immersion during fall and spring break. If you’re looking for a way to explore the national parks of the American West, check out GeoJourney. Or if you’re interested in a longer-term excursion, you might look into our Florence and Oxford Study abroad programs which give students in-depth exposure to other cultures.
No matter what your passions are, or if you’re interested in trying something completely new, the University Honors Program will help you launch into adventure and leadership!
The major thing I learned throughout this experience was that I am much more resilient than I thought. On our first hike, I was not sure if I would be able to keep up with the crew. But, the cheerful spirits and motivation from my peers and instructors made the journey awesome!
